Terms and conditions of service

1. Payment for all services is due in advance.
2. The charge modifications is $10.00 at our discretion for changes such as billing, new password, new username, etc.
3. There are no refunds for termination before completion of paid service period.
4. All customers are responsible for any action they take on our service.
5. We reserve the right to terminate any one for use that violates the standards of etiquette set by InterNIC and the use of service established by Panther Creek Information Services.
6. Parent or guardian is responsible for minors that use our service.
7. We do not monitor, control or censor the content of Internet Traffic for any purpose.
8. We do not control the content of web sites or web pages on our system. All content is solely the responsibility of the subscriber.
9. Subscriber is responsible for all claims, damages and liabilities arising from their use of our service.
10. We do not prorate for down time, ability to connect or any other problems that subscribers may encounter.
11. You are not permitted to connect a server application to the internet.

PCIS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Everyone who enrolls with PCIS Internet agrees to adhere to the Acceptable User Policy as stated below:

1. No unauthorized attempts to gain system access or access to any account not belonging to you on this or any other PCIS Internet system.

2. No use of this or any other PCIS Internet system as a staging ground to gain unauthorized access to other systems.

3. No use of this or any other PCIS Internet system through unauthorized dial-up access.

4. No use of this or any other PCIS Internet system for illegal or criminal purposes.

5. All users are responsible for their own telecommunications access charges, if any.

6. Any user who finds a possible security weakness on any PCIS Internet system is obliged to report it to the system administrators. If you're not sure, report it--don't try to use it.

7. Users are responsible for all use of their accounts, including choosing safe passwords, i.e., passwords which are not obvious to someone else--such as the user's first name.

8. Sharing passwords is not permitted, and a password can be in use only one at a time. Violators of this policy will not be permitted access the Internet.

9. Deliberate attempts to crash the system will not be tolerated. In general, we will NOT ask you to clean up your disk space (unless you exceed your allotted capacity) and/or stop your own processes except in emergencies.

10. System administrators do periodic security checks of PCIS Internet systems, to enforce the rules listed here. Any user who does not adhere to these rules will be notified via e-mail. If the user continues to violate these rules, the user's account will be locked until the that person contacts, VIA TELEPHONE, one of the system administrators to reinstate the account in question. PCIS reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who refuses to cooperate.

11. Electronic mail on this system is as private as we can make it. Attempts to read another person's electronic mail or other protected files will be treated with the utmost seriousness. In the course of their duties, we commit to you that the system administrators will never read someone else's e-mail unless absolutely necessary to resolve a system problem and will treat the contents of those files as private information at all times. Undeliverable mail is directed to the system administrators in the form of HEADERS ONLY for purposes of assuring reliable and private e-mail service.
